The harvest has almost come to an end for 2018 and here I present another farming sound library that I recorded together with Bulldogs for Kids e.V. in Essen. (For the other, check the “Harvester” post).
The Tractor Festival, organized in Essen, has raised more than 17,000 euros this year for chronically ill children. A highlight of the festival was the potato harvest for children, which was carried out with the historic tractor Kramer KL11 in combination with a sling harvester from Lanz (LK30). I took a closer listen at this very machinery.
The old single-cylinder engine was still running perfectly, only here and there he needed a jump start in the form of a screwdriver (and unfortunatley the horn wouldn’t do it). It produced especially great noise at the exhaust (put, put, put), the cylinder head (pok, pok, pok) and front left, at the belt (Zsch, Zsch, Zsch). The belt noise, while idleing and being switched off, is also what I offer in this post for free download:

Die Ernte ist so gut wie eingefahren und da stelle ich hier noch eine weitere Sound Library vor, die ich zusammen mit Bulldogs for Kids e.V. in Essen aufgenommen habe. (Die andere war der “Harvester” Klang hier im Blog)
Das in Essen organisierte Trekker-Fest hat diese Jahr über 17 000 EUR für chronisch Kranke Kinder eingespielt. Ein Höhepunkt des Fests war die Kartoffelernte für Kinder, die mit dem historischen Traktor Kramer KL11 in Kombination mit einem Schleuderroder von Lanz (LK30) ausgeführt wurde.
Genau diesen Taktor habe ich in allen Einzelheiten unter die Lupe, bzw. unters Mikrofon genommen. Der alte Eintakt Motor lief noch tadellos, lediglich hier und da brauchte er etwas Starthilfe in Form eines Schraubenziehers. Besonders tolle Geräusche hat er dabei am Auspuff produziert (put, put, put), am Zylinderkopf (pok,pok,pok) und vorne links am Riemen (Zsch,Zsch,Zsch).
